About Threshline
A local firm that would rather find the gap than sell a second visit
Threshline started in 2011 with one van and one technician in Wenley. We now run 6 technicians from a depot on Ostler Yard, and we still answer the phone ourselves.

Why we started
Most of the jobs we were sent to in the first year were second attempts. Someone had been out, put down bait, and left. The mice died, the gap under the boiler flue stayed open, and six weeks later there were more mice. We set the firm up to do the part that gets skipped: the survey, the proofing and the follow-up.
How a job is run
Every technician carries the same kit and follows the same checklist. The first visit is a survey as much as a treatment. Proofing materials are on the van, so small gaps are sealed on the day. Follow-ups are booked before we leave. When the job is done you get a written report, and the 90-day guarantee starts from that date.
Registrations and cover
[trade association] member, no. 000000. Technicians certified to [national pest management qualification]. Public liability cover to £5m with [insurer]. Threshline Pest Defence Ltd, registered in England, company 00000000.
Four rules on every job
-
Find the source first
We do not treat what we cannot explain. The survey comes before the spray, every time.
-
Use the least product that works
Traps and proofing before poison indoors. Bait in locked boxes. Nothing left where a dog or a toddler can reach it.
-
Say the price before we start
The technician confirms the fixed price after the survey. If it changes, you hear why before anything happens.
-
Write it down
Every job ends with a report: what we found, what we used, where, and what to watch for next.
Where we cover
Everywhere within 18 miles from our Wenley depot. Same-day visits are easiest in the towns closest to the depot.

What customers say after the last visit
-
“Rang at 10, technician here by 2. He found the gap behind the boiler flue in about ten minutes, which I had missed for a month. Two follow-ups and not a sound since.”
Helen R.Ostgate
-
“Nest the size of a football in the soffit above the kids’ bedroom. Treated from the ladder in twenty minutes, quiet by teatime. Fair price and no upsell.”
Marcus O.Marle End
-
“The preparation sheet was clear, both visits were on time and they sealed round the pipes under the sink. Our agent paid for the block after reading their note.”
