What tends to give them away
- Scratching or running heard in the ceiling void or wall at night
- Droppings along a skirting, under the sink, or in the loft
- Gnaw marks on cable, timber, or the corner of a food packet
- A run — a greasy, worn track where the same path is used nightly
How the barrier deals with it
- 01 A survey that finds the actual point of entry, not just the sightings
- 02 Proofing — the gap is sealed to below body width, because a barrier with a hole is not a barrier
- 03 Monitored control at the run, checked and logged until activity reads zero
