A trail in the kitchen is foragers from a nest that is usually outside the wall.

What you see
- A defined trail of ants across a worktop, floor, or threshold
- Fine soil or debris pushed up between paving or at the wall base
- Flying ants on a warm, humid day when the nest sends out its swarm
How the barrier deals with it
- 01 A slow bait taken back to the nest, so the colony fails rather than the trail you can see
- 02 A residual band at the threshold and wall base — the line the foragers cross
- 03 The external nest located and treated at source where it can be reached
